POPULAR clothes shop Jack Wills could be revamped into another clothes shop if plans are given the green-light by Oxford City Council.
As it is, Jack Wills sits at the top of High Street and is branded with its iconic blue and pink stripes.
But if plans are given the thumbs-up by the council then women's wear shop Anthropologie will take over the unit.
Anthropologie is part of the URBN group, which includes brands like Free People and Urban Outfitters – which has recently moved into the entrance of the Westgate Centre, opposite the library.
More plans:
Plans show the kind of changes which will be made to the Grade II listed building if the move happens.
Developers say they will add tile work to the ground floor and build some new changing rooms.
In the basement a stock room area and staff zone will be built.
At te front of the shop there will be major changes.
If plans are approved then the whole of the front will be painted light blue using Farrow and Ball paint.
Jack Wills is currently black and has large windows with sticker vinyls that say 'Jack Wills University Outfitters Fabulously British' – if plans go ahead, these will be stripped and sections at the side of the shop will be painted 'egg white' using Dulux paint. Jack Wills is still open.
