A WOMAN has died following a crash that closed the A34.
The 63-year-old was a passenger in the collision on the northbound carriageway between the Milton and Marcham junctions at 2.42pm on Wednesday.
She was taken to hospital and later died. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers.
The crash involved a silver BMW estate and a silver Ford C-Max, with both drivers taken to hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.

An ambulance crew came across the collision and radioed the control room to call for back-up, which saw another ambulance and rapid response vehicle sent to the scene.
Yesterday, South Central Ambulance Service said none of the injuries sustained were thought to be life-threatening.
Thames Valley Police also attended and the road was closed northbound between Milton and Marcham, before reopening at about 5pm.

Investigating officer PC Lyndsey Blackaby, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Bicester, said: “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding this collision in which sadly a woman has died. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.
“We would ask anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles involved to please come forward.
“Additionally we would ask anyone with dash-cam footage who was travelling on the A34 to look at their footage and get in touch if it shows this collision.”
