A one-day indoor festival of new music is set to introduce a new wave of people to the growing DIY music scene next month.
Returning for its third year on Saturday, September 14, If Not Now, When? is a showcase of some of the finest alternative music the UK has to offer.
The festival will include up to 30 acts across three stages at East Oxford Community Centre and Fusion Arts in Cowley Road.
Durham four-piece, Martha, will headline alongside American indie-rock quartet Pile and Leeds rock group Bilge Pump.
Also playing are Jack Goldstein from Oxford’s legendary band Fixers, energetic Derby-based Pet Crow, Ohio’s Leggy, experimental Schande, Chorusgirl, Rattle, Nervous Twitch, Ghum, Natalie Evans, Secret Power, Blessed Twins, Beat Combo, Sky Lark, Screen Wives, Theo, Junk Whale, Radisson Blue, Katie Malco, George Crowley, Masiro, Murderach, Limpet Space Race and Spank Hair.

The event is organised by promoters Divine Schism and Idiot King and takes place a month before an entirely different one-day indoor festival of new music, Ritual Union, on October 19, also in Cowley Road.
The all-day If Not Now, When? festival begins at 2pm and will continue until midnight, giving festival-goers ample chance to discover new artists and enjoy the wide selection of genres.
Tickets are a very reasonable £27.50 for the day, with under-18s getting in for just £12. Good food and great beer will be served in the entirely weather-proof venue.
