A CAR overturned in central Oxford this afternoon.
The vehicle was pictured laid on its side on Thame Street, just outside the parking area of the Westgate shopping centre, at around 1pm.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident, which involved a grey Renault.
Passerby Zubair Qureshi explained: "The police had cordoned off the area.

"It looked like someone took the turn too fast."
He continued: "I didn’t see any of the passengers. From what I believe, it was just the one car and no one else was involved."
