COSMETICS and make up fans will soon be welcoming a new beauty shop to Cowley Road.
High street chain Superdrug has announced it is opening up a new store on the busy city centre road.
The shop, which will create 14 new jobs, will open on Wednesday, September 18.
It will include the usual offers of health and beauty products, toiletries, and fragrances, as well as a brow bar.
The brow bar will offer treatments such as tints and eyebrow shaping with no pre-booking necessary.
Cowley Road store manager Emma Dewhurst said: "We are delighted to be opening our new store to customers in Oxford.
"The store is a great addition to the high street and will offer a wide selection of our unique mix of beauty, health and fragrances.
"The addition of the Brow Bar means we will be able to offer our customers a variety of top beauty treatments at affordable prices.
"We can’t wait to invite customers into the new store."
The new shop will open in a unit which currently sits empty with an array of posters decorating the windows.
It used to be the National Cycle before it was closed.
The new Superdrug will be open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
