WITNEY Town Council hopefuls are set to hear if they will replace a councillor who resigned following allegations of sending 'lewd messages'.
Voters in North ward are going to the polls today to decide whether Labour's Michael Brooker, the Green's Brigitte Hickman, the Liberal Democrats' Ben Molyneux or the Conservatives' Dean Temple should replace Trevor License.

Labour member Mr License stood down in June after being accused of sending sexually suggestive messages to a vulnerable woman.
Polling stations – in Committee Rooms one of the council offices in Woodgreen and Witney C.P. School on Hailey Road – close at 10pm.
