A MOTORIST who tried to drive his damaged BMW home after a motorway crash was fined by Thames Valley Police.
Pictures of the car, which show a dented front bumper and the front number plate missing, were shared on the force's road policing Twitter account yesterday.

Alongside an image of the car, a tweet said: "The driver of this BMW recieved a fixed penalty for using a vehicle in a dangerous condition after he decided to drive it home after a RTC on the motorway."
Thames Valley Police did not say where the driver was stopped.
