OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

MARTIN HEATH, 32, of Hardwick Park, Banbury, admitted possession of a controlled Class A drug, namely cocaine, on Tuesday, May 14, in Banbury. Fined £150 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge plus £85 court costs.

GARY SELLWOOD, 32, of Horspath Road, Oxford, admitted stealing nine boxes of perfume worth £360 from Boots at Oxford Retail Park, Cowley, on July 25. Also admitted stealing perfume worth £307 on May 10 and an electric razor and three boxes of perfume worth £254 on June 13 from the same shop, and three Xbox controllers worth £150 from Asda in Templars Shopping Park on August 1. Sentenced to 30 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

RICHARD CAPEL, 48, of Oxford Road, Kidlington, admitted racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment or alarm or distress by using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. Also admitted destroying alcohol bottles at Tesco on Cowley Road on July 5. Given a community order to comply with alcohol treatment requirements for nine months, and rehabilitation activity requirements. Must also pay £30 victim surcharge, £15.50 compensation and £85 court costs.

MARK ACKRE, 41, of Milton-Under-Wychwood near Chipping Norton, was convicted of speeding on February 23 on the A34 southbound near Wytham. Caught doing 59mph on the 50mph stretch of road. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Three points on driving licence.

NIKI KRUGER, 40, of Queensway, Didcot, was convicted of driving a vehicle on April 1 on Link Road in Didcot without the correct insurance and without a licence. Fined £880 and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge plus £85 court costs. Six points on licence.

TIM MUGERWA, 44, of Wilcote Road, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle without the correct insurance on January 20 along the A40 in Headington, Oxford. Fined £660, ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Six points on licence.

MARK STOCKER, 49, of Hawksmoor Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle to police between March 28 and April 25 in Banbury. Fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Six points on licence.

GORDON YOUNIE, 65, of Beaumont Court in The Avenue, Kennington, was convicted of speeding in Rose Hill in Oxford on March 4. Found to be doing 38mph in a 30mph zone. Fined £169 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Three points on driving licence.

SAMUEL ZAPPI, 30, of Maltfield Road, Headington, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle without the correct insurance on Cowley Road on March 29. Fined £660, and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Six points on licence.

MARK KETCHEN, 38, of Wigod Way, Wallingford, admitted speeding in a vehicle on the B481 Park Corner, near Henley-on-Thames on November 16. Found to be doing 36mph on the 30mph road. Fined £100, and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge plus £85 court costs.

JANET MILLIKI, 62, of Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order on August 6 between 9.30am and midday: caused alarm and distress to staff at Abingdon Post Office by throwing a broom. Also entered Mayott House on Ock Street in Abingdon despite being prohibited from both locations. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

BOBBY FORSTER, 37, of Trefoil Place, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing to the value of £333 from Top Shop, Oxford, on August 3 as well as breaching a previously imposed community order. He was jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement for 12 months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £122.

MATTHEW SAMUELS, 23, of RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on July 21 at Queens Lane, Oxford. Had 109mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

SARAH COTTERELL, 39, of Main Road, Appleford, admitted stealing alcohol and baby wipes to the value of £250 from Asda, Greenwood Way, Didcot, on July 20. She was made subject to a community order to include 250 hours of unpaid work and she must pay compensation of £250.

NICHOLAS STUART ROSE, 23, of Larksfield Close, Carterton, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on July 18 at Monahan Way, Carterton. Had 58mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £350 and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

MICHAEL BENNETT, 86, of Park Street, Thame, admitted speeding by driving 36mph in a 30mph area at Park Corner, Oxfordshire, on October 8. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

ALAN RICHARD TOBIN, 39, of no fixed abode, admitted assaulting a woman in Banbury on August 3 as well as causing criminal damage to a washing line and wardrobe. He was made subject to a community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days and must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.

NADINE KAMEL JAWARD, 22, of Manor Road, Oxford, was convicted of travelling on a Cross Country Railway train without having paid for a valid ticket to the value of £169.50. She was fined £440 and must pay compensation of £169.50, a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £161.

GEOFFERY JABBI, 28, of Ferry Pool Road, Oxford, was convicted of travelling on a Cross Country Railway train without having paid for a valid ticket to the value of £92.20 on October 30. He was fined £440 and must pay compensation of £92.20, a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £600.

JAKE GODBOLD, 30, of Bonners Mead, Wallingford, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on May 5 in Didcot. Had 75mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £250 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.
