One local, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: "A Go-Green taxi seems to have crashed in Didcot.
"It’s not clear whether the crash is related to the demolition of the Power Station or not. The taxi crashed into a children’s playground on Foxhall Road.
"The speed limit is only 30mph in this area so presumably the driver must have been going faster than this in order to crash through the barriers. Hopefully no children were hurt by this bit of careless driving."
In a statement, Go Green Taxis said: "Go Green Taxis would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by our taxi which crashed into Foxhall Road Play Park this morning. Thankfully no one was hurt and we will be speaking with the council first thing tomorrow to ensure the Park is made safe to use as quickly as possible."
Thames Valley Police said the incident was a was a 'damage only road traffic collision'.
