A RAISED traffic calming feature is proposed to make drivers slow down in Cowley.
Oxfordshire County Council wants to build it on Rymers Lane, at its junction with Littlehay Road and Cornwallis Road, in Florence Park.
The raised junction table would extend about 12 metres into all of those roads, with the county council saying it hopes it would ‘improve the road safety for local residents’.
Other approach ramps will be about a metre long and 75mm high, with a gradient of 1:12.
The council also plans to install ‘reboundable’ white bollards with red and white reflectors on each corner of the junction.
