WITNEY MP Robert Courts has been given a new role in the government.
Mr Courts announced yesterday that he had been appointed as a parliamentary private secretary (PPS) to the environment secretary, Theresa Villiers.
The MP said: āIām very pleased to have been appointed PPS to the Environment Secretary.
"I look forward to supporting the Government in delivering the important legislation we need to protect our precious environment, tackle climate change, promote British farming, and make a success of our post-Brexit future.ā
In July 2018, Mr Courts quit his post as PPS to the foreign office in protest at ex-Prime Minister's Brexit deal struck at Chequers.
