WHETHER it be crowds watching a spectacular fireworks display or a flock of pink flamingos there were communities to be found in all manner of places this week.
A popular focus of members' submissions was people out enjoying local events.
Stunning photos of town's first firework festivalThe fun of Countryfile Live at Blenheim was captured by Emma Avery in her shot of tents and stalls with people on the water in the foreground.
We like how the rural nature of the festival is highlighted in the image.
Another stand out was a colourful snap of performers at Witney Carnival by Gordon Craig.
An older community moment that we enjoyed was crowds out to watch Olympic torch passing through Woodstock in July, 2012, taken by Bryan Robertson.
Sport was a popular subject, with Bob Girling's photograph of a line of cyclists riding through the Oxfordshire countryside as part of Ridgeway 100 cycle event a particular favourite.
There were also plenty of communities to be found in nature.
One we loved was a field of rescue horses at Watlington Hill Farm Sanctuary by Sharon Allen.
The role emergency services play in the community was highlighted in several entries.
A smiling PCSO Helen Tanzy Keen (who is also a Camera Club member) heads the 2019 May Day Parade through the village of Eynsham in Ian White's snap.
Susan Gibbs captured a Thames Valley Air Ambulance, meanwhile, which is funded by community donations.
Finally, Ian Marriott, showcased Branches in Botley and its importance to residents.
PICTURES: Camera Club take on 'lines' themeSharing a shot of staff at the cafe on the Oxford Mail Camera Club Facebook page, he wrote: "A social enterprise company, helped by volunteers, providing a meeting place for the local community in the mornings and for young people in the afternoons and evening.
"Great coffee and the best breakfast in town."
Next week's theme is 'yellow'.
