THE moment a 71-year-old man was put into a police van by at least five officers outside St Aldate's station was captured by an Oxford Mail photographer.
Taken yesterday at around 3.15pm they show the elderly Oxford man having to be heavily restrained as he is led towards the vehicle.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman today said the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence - 'using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and assault by beating of an emergency worker.'
He remains in police custody.
