AN ANTIQUE firearm and Mercedes car have been stolen in separate burglaries in Oxfordshire.
Thames Valley Police has issued witness appeals today for three burglaries in the county, but did not state if any of them are thought to be linked.
The antique gun was taken from inside a home in Appleton near Abingdon, at some point between Thursday and 10.34am on Friday.

Police said burglars stole a tablet computer, a collectable coin as well as the firearm.
The force has also appealed for information about a burglary in Keydale Road, Wheatley.
A home was broken into between midnight and 2.47am on Friday, July 26.
Burglars gained access and took car keys to a Mercedes C220 Sport, which they stole.

On Saturday, burglars smashed a window to get into a home in Pyrton, near Watlington.
The break-in happened in Knightsbridge Lane between 10.30am and 8.30pm, and silver and watches were stolen from inside.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 43190237683 for Appleton, 43190124660 for Wheatley and 43190238482 for Pyrton.
