Man charged with attempted rape and sexual assault after alleyway attack
A MAN has been charged with attempted rape and sexual assault after a woman was attacked in an alleyway.
Joseph Parkin, of High Street in Finstock, was arrested on January 19, and charged for one count of attempted rape and two counts of sexual assault.
He was charged via postal requisition on July 15.
It is in connection with an alleyway attack which happened in The Crofts, Witney, in the early hours of January 17. The victim was a woman in her twenties.
Mr Parkin, 25, is expected to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 13.
