A NEW manager has taken over at Cowley's Templars Square Shopping Centre.
Paul Jackson, who has 20 years experience in retail management, has moved from neighbouring shopping centre Castle Quay in Banbury.
He replaces Owen Acland and will be in charge as the building's owner NewRiver gets ready for a massive redevelopment of the site.
'GET ON WITH IT' - what is going on with delay to £60m Templars Square rebuild? The 53-year-old said: “It’s an exciting time to join Templars Square and a fantastic opportunity for me. Building upon the excellent work that the team has achieved so far, my remit will be to enhance that work and take the business forward, whilst working with and listening to the local community."
Charles Spooner from NewRiver said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul at a time when Templars Square is committed and focused on its growth strategy.
"The next couple of years are crucial for the centre and Paul, with his experience, is well-versed in this space and best placed to take on the challenge.”
