WHETHER you love it, hate it, or have no idea what it is – the bubble tea phenomenon is taking Oxford by storm.
Chain Bubbleology is the latest to announce it will be popping up in Oxford, joining the four other cafes already in the city centre serving up the Taiwanese tea sensation.
Earlier in the month plans to open another cafe were revealed for Gloucester Green.
Bubble tea is also known as boba and has adopted the name because of the chewy tapioca balls which are brewed into the milky or fruity tea mixture.

Bubbleology, which also has 14 other chains in the UK, announced the plans to open in the city centre on Facebook, explaining: "Bubbleology is coming to Oxford! We're serving up mouth-watering Bubble Waffles, thirst-quenching Bubble Teas and the smoothest gelato you'll ever taste!"
The opening date has not yet been revealed, however the shop will be on High Street – close to All Bar One.
