A MAN has been charged after war medals were stolen from a property in Cholsey, near Wallingford.
Carl Hunter, of The Meadway in Tilehurst Reading, has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of fraud by misrepresentation.
It comes after theives broke into a property on Reading Road in Cholsey on July 10. War medals, jewellery, and credit cards were stolen. The credit cards from the address were used later that day.
Hunter has been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court on August 9.
A 49-year-old man and 37-year-old man, both from Reading, have also been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident. They were both released on bail until August 9.
