STAGECOACH in Oxfordshire is making changes to bus services to Oxford hospitals to ‘reduce delays and improve reliability’.

The company said the 700, 800 and 900 services will change from Sunday, with changes to routes 800 and 900 designed to reduce delays for customers.

A spokeswoman said between 10am and 2pm, the frequency on the 700 route will change to every 30 minutes (previously every 20 minutes) to better match demand.

Morning peak journeys will alter by a few minutes to improve reliability.

Oxford Mail:

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire managing director Chris Coleman said: “We recognise the challenges that our customers face when it comes to trying to reach the hospitals during peak time.

“ Ensuring that all of our bus journeys, particularly hospital services, run on time is paramount to us to ensure that passengers make their appointments in plenty of time. These updates aim to avoid congestion and offer our customers a more consistent and reliable service.

“We hope that the service changes will help to improve the community’s access to our hospitals.

“We’re always looking for customer feedback so would encourage users of these services to tell us if the new timetables meet their demand.”
