OXFORD MAGISTRATES’
CHRISTOPHER DEBANKS, 33, of Furlong Close in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted stealing £60 worth of Lenor washing product from B&M in Templars Square, Cowley, on June 23. He also admitted stealing 10 bottles of Lenor from the same shop on June 4, and on another occasion stealing £65 worth of cheese from NISA supermarket in Blackbird Leys Road on June 9. He was given a community order including a drug rehabilitation requirement, and ordered to pay £174.99 compensation.
MICHAEL CARR, 27, of Nettlebed Mead in Oxford, admitted failing to stop driving when asked to by police on Champion Way, Oxford, on March 31. He was fined £250 and ordered to pay £30 to fund victim services.
JAKE WOODWARD, 21, of Meadow Lane in Iffley, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Abingdon Road, Oxford on June 21. He was found to have 94mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of 35mcg. He was ordered to undertake 80 hours unpaid work within 12 months, disqualified from driving for two years, and ordered to pay £170 court costs.
JOHN GOODLAD, 54, of Pinnocks Way, Botley, admitted dishonestly making a statement to Oxford City Council which was false to obtain payment, namely that he had a tenancy agreement for a narrowboat with David Knight. He also admitted failing to notify the Department for Work and Pension that he was out the country for 28 days or more between March 11, 2017, and May 9, 2017, again between October 9, 2015, and November 13, 2015, and the same offence between April 10, 2015, and June 12, 2015. He was ordered to take part in a rehabilitation activity requirement, and must pay £85 towards victim services.
OUSSAMA SAHNOUN, 22, of Oxford Road in Littlemore, admitted possession of an offensive weapon, namely a belt, in Bonn Square, Oxford, on March 23. Sentenced to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, due to high risk of public disorder because he was drunk at the time and used the belt in a threatening manner. Ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work within 12 months, and fined £115 and £85 court costs.

AFTAB AFZAL, 48, of Kennington Road in Oxford, admitted speeding by driving at 38mph in a 30mph zone on the A4074 on December 13, 2018. Fined £340, ordered to pay £34 to fund victim services and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.
TIM BEDFORD, 43, of Thame Road, Warborough, near Wallingford, admitted speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Marston Road, Oxford, on September 23, 2018. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £115 court costs.
RYAN DIXON, 33, of Burbush Road in Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 89mph on the 60mph A404 in Little Marlow on September 13, 2018. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £115 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 21 days.
WILLIAM BRAZIL, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted possessing Class A drugs, namely cocaine and heroin, in Littlemore on July 1. Also admitted breaching a conditional discharge order imposed on June 20 for two counts of theft from a shop. Fined £180 and ordered to pay £32 for victim services.

JOHN FLAHERTY, 43, of Herschel Crescent in Littlemore, Oxford, admitted obstructing/resisting a constable in execution of duty in Cowley Road on June 22. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £115 court costs.
DAVID PAINTIN, 38, of no fixed abode, admitted theft from a motor vehicle on May 13 in Oxford. He stole food, Rayban sunglasses, a humidifier, a sat nav and accessories, all totalling £450. Also admitted failing to surrender to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 2 having been release on bail, being in possession of heroin on April 10, and breaching a conditional discharge order after being convicted for being in possession of heroin in Iffley Road, Oxford, on February 26. Jailed for 17 weeks and ordered to pay £115 compensation.
BRIANNA PERRY, 20, of Copse Lane in Marston, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Derwent Avenue in Oxford, on June 23. Found to have 48mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £250, ordered to pay £115 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
TANYA THOMSON, 38, of Ruskin Walk in Bicester, admitted stealing £40 worth of detergents from Wilkinsons on May 13. Ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation requirement, pay £40 compensation, and ordered to not enter any shops in Bicester in Sheep Street, Crown Walk, of Pioneer Square in Bicester, or be in a group of two or more in Sheep Street.

THOMAS COLCOMBE, 28, of Hazel Crescent in Kidlington, admitted criminal damage to a window at The Crown pub in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on June 23. Fined £500.
MARGOT TEALL, 61, of Valentia Close in Bletchingdon, near Kidlington, admitted speeding at 36mph on the 30mph Marston Road on September 7, 2018. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £30 to fund victim services. Three points on licence.
WENDY GRAHAM, 57, of Cecil Sharp Place in Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on March 11. Fined £150 and ordered to pay £150 compensation, and £115 court costs.
LEWIS XAVIER MITRY-GOLDBEY, 21, of Bull Baulk in Middleton Cheney, near Banbury, admitted drug driving, namely cannabis, on March 30 in Hennef Way, Banbury. Given a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £170 court costs. disqualified from driving.
