POLICE have launched an investigation after a man's body was found at his flat in Oxford, apparently several weeks after he had passed away.
It is believed that the man was found four weeks after dying in his home on Abingdon Road – which runs from the Folly Bridge down to the Southern Bypass.
His body was discovered on Monday.

A neighbour told the Oxford Mail that she had to sleep somewhere else that night and could not get inside during the day because police had closed off the area for an investigation.
She said: “I could not get into my house on Monday and the afternoon because it was all closed off as a crime scene.”
Circumstances surrounding his death are not yet known.
