AN OXFORD man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Cowley last month.
Fatos Xheta, 45, of Lytton Road, Cowley, has been charged on one count of murder and is due in court today.
It is in relation to an incident at around 5am on Monday, June 17, when a 35-year-old woman, who is thought to be his wife, was found deceased at a property on the same road.
She has been formally identified as Safie Xheta, of Oxford.
Xheta has been remanded into custody and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ later.
