A FAMOUS farmer and former rock star visited pupils to launch a creative festival competition.
Cheesemaker Alex James, best known for being Blur's bassist, encouraged children to get arty at Bledington Primary School near Chipping Norton on Wednesday.
He is inviting local children to submit a fun, colourful, festival-inspired design, and the winning entry will be displayed at the Big Feastival festival in August.
It will be used as the backdrop for the Big Top stage in the Little Dudes' Den tent, and the winner will also receive a free family weekend ticket.
The Big Feastival returns to Mr James' farm in Kingham on August Bank Holiday weekend, with huge music acts including Jess Glynne and Lewis Capaldi, plus celebrity chefs such as Prue Leith and Raymond Blanc.
