A WOMAN has died in a homeless shelter in Oxford.
Oxford City Council said the 40-year-old woman, who who has not been named, died on Tuesday at Simon House in Paradise Street in the city centre.

"She had a local connection with South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse councils, who had placed her in Simon House in November. Police have informed her next of kin. We understand that there may be a post-mortem into her death.
"The results of this will be given to her family, not to A2Dominion or the council. "I would like to extend my condolences to her family and friends."
The council is to open a new homeless hub in a former job centre in Floyds Row later this year.
