A DRIVER has been rescued from a car after it flipped and ended up upside down on a roundabout in Bicester.
Firefighters were scrambled to the roundabout at the end of Launton Road this morning after the crash at about 6.30am.
Dramatic pictures show the car upside down having come to rest on the display of rocks and plants at the centre of the roundabout, also at the junction wiht Skimmingdish Lane.
A post of Facebook from firefighters said the occupant of the car was freed after crews stabalised the car on the large rocks, cut away the plants and they were rescued through the passenger door.
The post added that the occupant was 'not severly hurt' but was being treated by South Central Ambulance Service.
Part of the roundabout has been closed off this morning to drivers, although delays were minor.

READ AGAIN: Tributes paid to grandparents who died in Bicester roundabout crash
A tribute was made yesterday to victims Kenneth Jarvis, 77, and Gillian Jarvis, 80, from Bicester who died at the scene.
After today's crash Oxfordshire Fire Service watch manager Pete Mackay, from Bicester Fire Station, said: "This was a highly unusual incident, given where the vehicle landed, the occupant was extremely fortunate to be safely released given the large display rocks that the car landed on.
"Our priority was making sure the vehicle was safe and not able to move before we released the occupant.
"This is the second significant incident on a roundabout in seven days in Bicester and we urge people to take care when on the roads of Oxfordshire."
