OPERATING theatres at the John Radcliffe Hospital have reopened today following ventilations problems.
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was forced to closed the West Wing theatres on Thursday.
READ AGAIN: Patients left 'disappointed' as surgeries cancelledThe unknown issue led to an 'urgent review' of all planned operations across the trust's sites, which also include the Churchill, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Banbury’s Horton General.
They reopened today and planned operations went ahead as normal.
Sara Randall, Acting Chief Operating Officer at the trust, said: “I would like to thank all the staff who have worked so hard over the weekend to make sure that we are able to bring all our theatres fully back into use.

I would also like to apologise to those patients whose operations were postponed at the end of last week and to reassure them that we are making every effort possible to rearrange them as soon as possible.
