POLICE have revealed more details about the death of a woman whose body was discovered in a property in East Oxford this morning.
A murder investigation was launched after officers were called to Lytton Road at 5.11am this morning.
A statement from Thames Valley Police has now confirmed it was a 35-year-old woman inside the property who had died and police believe it was an 'isolated incident'.

A 45-year-old man was also found with serious injuries and he remains in hospital, according to police.
Detective Superintendent Ian Hunter, head of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “We continue to investigate the circumstances of this incident and are in the early stages however at this time we believe this to be an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident."
He added a scene watch was in place and members of the public would see an increased police presence while investigations continued.
A police cordon remains surrounding the house, which is on the junction with Florence Park Road near The Jolly Postboys pub.
Forensics, officers and police vans have been at the scene since this morning.
