THE substance used in yesterday's horrifying 'liquid attack' was 'household bleach', police have said.
A man was taken to hospital after being 'targeted' in the attack in a Blackbird Leys public toilet at around 11.30am - and four police officers were also seen as a precaution.

No one has yet been arrested in connection with the Knights Road incident, but the 42-year-old victim has now left hospital and suffered 'no long term injuries', according to Thames Valley Police.
The force has issued a renewed appeal for witnesses following the attack, in which the man felt a 'burning sensation' after having the liquid thrown over him from a clear bottle by two attackers.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged, after what police are now calling a 'targeted' assault.
'Acid attacks' are often used as a catch all phrase to include incidents involving bleach, but other similar incidents have used more dangerous substances.

Police say the two offenders were black men in dark clothing, but do not yet have a more detailed description.
SCAS spokesman David Gallagher said: "We received a number of 999 calls around 11.30am, all reporting that a patient had a possibly corrosive liquid thrown at them on Blackbird Leys Road.
"We sent two ambulances, a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
"The male patient was then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for further assessment along with one police officer (as a precaution due to possible contamination) and a further three police officers were taken to the Horton (again, purely precautionary due to possible contamination)."
Officers are still in the area carrying out enquiries following the incident.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Tom Mansfield, of Oxford Force CID, said: “We are continuing to appeal for witnesses following this incident yesterday.
“We believe this was a targeted attack and that there is no threat to the wider public.
“This incident happened at about 11.30am and I believe that there would have been a large number of people who could have vital information about this who are yet to come forward.
“Anyone with any information relating to this incident should call us on 101, quoting reference number 535 (16/6).
