NINE new schools are set to open in this county in the next four years, a meeting will hear today.
The Swan School in Oxford, Whitelands Academy in Bicester and a new school at Barton Park are among the academies due to open by September 2023.
The Swan School is actually set to open this September, but in temporary buildings while its main site on Marston Ferry Road is completed.

Whitelands Academy, the Barton Park school, a new primary at Southam Road, Banbury, a primary at the new Crab Hill estate in Wantage and one at Bloxham Grove, Banbury, are all due to open by September next year.
A new Windrush CofE School in Witney and an academy at Graven Hill in Bicester are both due to open in September 2021 while a Special Free School in Didcot is set to welcome students in 2022.
Finally, a new all-through school at Grove Airfield next to Wantage, taking pupils from five years old up to sixth form, is currently set to open its doors in September 2023.
The building programme will all be discussed today by Oxfordshire County Council's education scrutiny committee.
Parents, pupils and teachers are all welcome to sit in on the public meeting – so long as they're not in school or at work – at County Hall in Oxford from 1pm.
