A NURSE has been praised for her 'unflagging love and warmth' to residents at Bridge House care home in Abingdon.
Elena Livadariu, from Wallingford, was presented with the Heart of Gold Award at a ceremony at the care home last week.

Ms Livadariu was then chosen from the list of nominations by a panel of previous Heart of Gold award winners from all the other homes in Bridge Houses’ group.
June Maharaj, home manager said: “Elena is a worthy winner of this award.

"She is always going above and beyond the call of duty. She has a ‘can do’ attitude and nothing is impossible. We are very proud to have her here with us at Bridge House.”
Altogether there were 133 nominations for the award.
