A BURGLAR struck a woman as he and an accomplice ran off with cash from her house.
Two men smashed the glass side door to get inside a house in Radley Road, Abingdon, at about 3.15pm on Monday.
Their victim, a 37-year-old woman, returned home during the raid and gave chase into the back garden.
Police said one she 'stumbled back' as one of the burglars hit her shoulder, and they got away with a 'large quantity of cash.'

Appealing for witnesses today, officers said the men ran out of the garden and fled in a black Audi, with a partial registration number GU***WK.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Richard Whitcombe, based at Abingdon police station, said: "This incident happened during the day and we think there could be a number of people who may have seen what happened.
"If you were in the area at this time, you may have seen two men acting suspiciously before or after this incident."
He added: "This was distressing for the victims in this case and it is fortunate that no-one was injured."

The first man is described as white, in his early to mid-30s, around 6ft 2ins tall, clean shaven with brown short hair and of stocky build.
He was wearing a dark baseball cap, a khaki green bomber jacket, white t-shirt and dark coloured jeans.
No description was provided for the second man.

Police did not specify exactly where on Radley Road the burglary took place.
