A 22-YEAR-old woman was punched twice in the face as a young robber snatched her bag while she was walking along a footpath.
The victim was left with a bruised face after being attacked on the path that runs adjacent to Mallard’s Way in Bicester on Wednesday last week.
Thames Valley Police has today urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident, which happened at around 11.50am, to come forward.
Police said the attacker approached the woman from behind and grabbed her bag.

During the struggle he punched her twice in the face before running off in the direction of Langford Village, past the stone circles.
The victim’s purse was stolen but was later found. She did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white man, aged between 16 and 22 years old with short, dark brown hair and freckles on his face. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a blue hooded top.
