On Friday and Saturday fans of the spirit attended The Gin To My Tonic festival, which is run by friends Emira Shepherd and Paul Hudson-Jones.

Speaking ahead of the festival, Ms Shepherd said all the gins were carefully chosen, with several local gin brands in attendance.
She explained: “Each gin stocked behind the bars has been selected based on outstanding craftsmanship, delightful flavour and the most enjoyable drinking experiences.”
Holding their first festival in the city last year, the pair also run The Gin To My Tonic events across the country.
A Facebook post yesterday thanked all those who attended in Oxford and promised more gin-based fun to come, adding: “As an Oxfordshire based business we love running this event in our home city, especially on big occasions like World Gin Day.
