A DRIVER told police he 'didn't know how he crashed' on the A34 yesterday during high wind and rain.
The motorist was driving close to Marcham in the afternoon when he lost control of the car.
The vehicle ended up smashing into the central reservation barrier, taking a large part of the front end off.
Weather forecast for today: 35mph winds and rain
It is not thought anyone was injured, and it is understood only one vehicle was involved.
However, when police arrived to help and asked the driver how the crash happened, he said he didn't know.
The incident happened after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for wind and rain across Oxfordshire.
Police tweeted the above pictured yesterday and urged drivers to take care when driving in the rain.
They added the Twitter hashtags #takecareintherain #drivetotheconditions and #slowdown.
