OXFORD'S Big Green Day Out has been cancelled over gazebo guidelines.
The city council confirmed tomorrow's event on Broad Street will no longer go ahead due to forecasted high winds being double the recommended speed for the gazebos used on the day.
Speeds of up to 40mph are forecast tomorrow - double the maximum speed of 20mph recommended by the gazebo manufacturers.
A statement from the city council said: "This decision was made to protect members of the public, and the stall holders and their prepared materials.
