A MAN charged with attempted murder after a stabbing at a Headington supermarket has elected to face a trial by jury.
Jordan Anderson, of no fixed abode, appeared at Oxford Crown Court this afternoon.
The 30-year-old pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and the case was adjourned for a trial to be held later this year.
It comes after a woman in her 20s was stabbed outside the London Road Co-op on March 12.

She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries and the incident sparked a large police presence in the area at the time.
Anderson was remanded in custody at the end of the brief hearing yesterday to await his trial.
That trial is now due to start at Oxford Crown Court on August 19 and is expected to last up to five days.
