OXFORD has been voted the 5th most popular place to holiday in the UK this summer.
The city of dreaming spires beat picturesque hotspots like St Ives in Cornwall, but lost to Bath, Edinburgh and Brighton – which all bagged the top three spots.
The figures were pulled together by holiday provider holidaycottages.co.uk after it surveyed 2,000 people.
According to the company, 54 percent of Brits are planning on holidaying in the UK this summer.
Oxford gets around 16 million visitors a year.
