A MAN has admitted carrying out an armed robbery at an Oxford supermarket.
Gerald Gribban, of no fixed abode, appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday facing one count of robbery and one of having a bladed article.
The charges relate to an incident on Sunday, May 5, when a knife was produced in front of staff in a Co-op store on Iffley Road in Oxford.

The 46-year old admitted both counts yesterday and his sentencing hearing was adjourned until June 7.
