VANDALS caused misery for hundreds of families on one of the hottest days of the year when they dyed an outside pool's water purple.
Families had to be turned away from Hinksey Outdoor Pool in 2007 after the incident which left the entire pool tinged purple.
It was left looking like a vat of Ribena after an unknown substance was put in the water on the Friday night and discovered the next morning.
