ROAD users may face delays this weekend due to water works.
Thames Water is using the Bank Holiday weekend to carry out some essential leak repairs on the Southern Bypass near the Kennington Roundabout.
Work is taking place on the central reservation and a single lane closure on the A34 will be in place from 10pm tonight on both carriageways and will end at 11pm on bank holiday Monday.

There may be delays in the area.
The company's CEO has today resigned.
Thames Water has worked with Oxfordshire County Council to co-ordinate the lane closure to keep disruption to a minimum.
Tom Hutchinson, operations manager for Thames Water, said: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience this work will cause but it is vital we carry out these repairs to two separate leaks.
“Tackling leakage is a top priority for us and by carrying out the work this weekend we aim to keep impact on road-users to a minimum.”
Within its 2020-25 business plan, Thames Water has committed to reducing leakage by 15 per cent with a long-term ambition of halving it by 2050.
The problem was worst in Cherwell district, with Thames Water clearing 838 fat and grease and paper and rag blockages, up from 835 the previous year.
