A FORMER city pub building which is now home to a driverless car company is set to be demolished and replaced with a hotel, new offices and flats.
The owners of the old Honey Pot pub off Frideswide Square have revealed plans to knock it down and build a new five-storey block in its place.
The pub, which was at one point called The Adventurer, closed in 2015.
It was empty for years before being recently taken over by driverless car tech firm Latent Logic.

Don't drink or drive – high-tech car firm takes over former city pubThe company which converted the space for Latent Logic – Jericho design firm Robin Swailes – has now submitted plans to demolish the whole building and replace it.
Under the plans, Robin Swailes said the new building would have office space on the ground floor, first floor and part of the second floor.
A new hotel would take up the rest of the second floor and part of the third floor, and the rest of the third floor and fourth floor would contain three apartments – one one-bed and two two-bed.
Submitting the plans to Oxford City Council this month, Robin Swailes told planning officers: "The design proposed is contemporary and innovative and will provide a standout design to enhance this part of the city centre."

No car parking space would be provided as part of the new plan, with Robin Swailes saying it would be unnecessary in such a central location.
