NEARLY half of Oxford Mail readers are having to wait longer than three weeks to see their GP.
After this newspaper revealed on Saturday that more than 13,600 patients in Oxfordshire were forced to wait longer than four weeks for an appointment, readers were asked what happened the last time they tried to go to the doctors.
READ AGAIN: GP waiting times in Oxford revealed amidst ongoing recruitment problemsOff the 288 people who took part in the poll, 22 per cent told us they had faced waits of four weeks or more while 27 per cent said it was between three and four weeks.
In contrast 24 per cent said they had been able to see their GP in less than a week while 11 per cent said it was one to two weeks.
