CHILTERN Railways passengers in Oxfordshire are being warned to expect heavy disruption this weekend.
Network Rail engineering works mean the line through Beaconsfield is closed throughout today and tomorrow, with a heavily-amended timetable on all of the operator's routes.
The company has said journey times will be 'considerably longer' than usual, with HS2 preparation works at West Ruislip also taking place this weekend.
A statement on the Chiltern Railways website added: "Passengers may need to travel via alternative routes, on other operator's services, London Underground services and/or rail replacement bus services."
