A DRIVER who had only just bought a new car was stopped in Oxford city centre late at night and given a fine for not having any insurance.
Thames Valley Police's road policing unit said it stopped the vehicle in High Street, Oxford, on Sunday night.
The latest results from courtA tweet said the driver had bought the car two days ago.
But they 'hadn't got around' to buying insurance yet, according to the police.
Officers seized the car, gave the driver six points on their licence and handed out a £300 fine.
The actions of the driver were a '#epicfail', the tweet added.
