DETAILS have emerged about the horse that was killed by a dog on Port Meadow, Oxford.
Vets have confirmed that the dog bites and the injury to the horse indicated that the dog bit and held onto the horse whilst it tried to shake the dog off.

The three-year-old horse died as a result of shock and secondary infection.
There were no witnesses to the attack which happened on the evening of April 18, and the horse died overnight on April 29.
The owner of the horse does not wish to discuss the incident with the press.
