THE roof of a sports car had to be removed to free the trapped driver from inside after a crash near Wallingford.
Firefighters were scrambled to rescued the driver from the Porsche Cayenne when it happened about 3am on Sunday.
The sports car had crashed at the bottom of Gangsdown Hill in the early hours and due to the speeds involved and force on the driver the roof had to be removed.
South central ambulance were already on scene helping treat the driver, who was trapped in the car due to the nature of his injuries.
