TRAVELLERS have moved on to Didcot's Great Western Park estate with residents claiming they have 'taken over.'
Dozens of caravans were seen across the new housing estate yesterday afternoon.
The first group of caravans were said to have arrived on Monday with more following on Tuesday.
It is the latest group of travellers to arrive in Oxfordshire in recent days.
One Didcot resident told the Oxford Mail: "They've taken over, they're everywhere, all over Great Western Park.
"As you approach from the A4130 there's two on the grass bank, but from there you can't actually see just how many there are. Because as you go up the hill onto the park, there are groups of three or four or five.
"They've got chickens stuffed into a trailer, and dogs and horses.
"They've removed the brown gate and there are caravans in the Taylor Wimpey shows homes area."
The man also alleged that police have so far been reluctant to deal with the problem.
He added: "The residents are really angry - especially as two PCSOs came in a van, one was seen to shake one of the travellers' hands and then they left again."
