A BEER produced by an Oxfordshire brewery has been on offer to the country's most powerful politicians throughout this week.
Oxford Blue ale, created by Chadlington Brewery in West Oxfordshire, has been the guest ale at Strangers' Bar in the Houses of Parliament for one week only.
The beer graced Strangers', the favoured bar of many Lords and MPs, thanks to Witney MP Robert Courts, who visited the brewery last November.
He arranged for Oxford Blue to be sold in the bar and the brewery team met the MP for a celebratory pint in London on Tuesday.

Mr Courts said: “With 650 MPs, there is great competition from breweries around the country.
"I was so impressed by Chadlington Brewery when I visited the team recently and I hope that this opportunity for a local brew to be served in Parliament sets them up for further success."
It crowned a memorable week for the brewery, which launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise £250,000 to build a tap room on Wednesday.
Donations have flooded in, with the total already at £113,000 yesterday afternoon.
Investors will be rewarded for how much they give, with prizes ranging from having their name etched on the tap room wall to deliveries of free beer.
The brewery sponsors Oxfordshire County Cricket's first team and counts Somerset bowler, Jack Brooks, as one of its ambassadors.
