A KNIFE-Wielding robber who stormed into a number of Witney shops before threatening staff and demanding cash has had his sentence increased.
Christopher Wain, of Richens Drive in Carterton, was jailed in February after being found guilty of robbery, attempted robbery and having a knife.
A trial at Oxford Crown Court heard how Wain burst in to a Tesco Express five minutes before closing on February 29, 2016, wearing a balaclava and carrying a knife.

He threatened an employee behind the counter to empty the tills.
The following day the 41-year-old, again wearing a balaclava, stormed a Betfred bookmakers in Witney threatened to burn the building down.
He was rebuffed by a member of staff who activated the panic alarm and he fled empty handed.
Oxford Crown Court heard during the trial how the prolific thief had already tallied up 128 offences.
He was sentenced to two years and six months in prison.
A statement from the Attorney General's Office said the sentence was 'unduly lenient' and today the Court of Appeal increased Wain's sentence.

It was extended to six years and six months after being referred to the Court of Appeal by solicitor general Robert Buckland.
The Solicitor General said: "Wain has an extensive criminal record that includes previous convictions for theft, he also committed this robbery whilst on bail.
"Furthermore, he has caused additional stress and anxiety by using a weapon and wearing a balaclava whilst carrying out both the robbery and attempted robbery.
"I am glad his sentence has been increased today and hope it brings comfort to his victims."
