A COMMUNITY-owned pub wants to build a new external storage area at the back of its listed building.
The Bull in Great Milton, which counts chef Raymond Blanc as one of its owners, has lodged plans with South Oxfordshire District Council.
If approved, it would see a refrigeration and log storage area built at the back of the main thatched building to help service the successful dining area at the pub.
It's the latest in a number of redevelopments of the building since it was taken over by the community from Greene King in April 2013.
The extension of the dining area and installation of new decking has resulted in limited spaces for storage at the pub, hence the need for the new outside area.
Plans would see a picket fence extended and an Aunt Sally area relocated further into the garden.
Situated in the same village as world-famous Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons restaurant, run by Raymond Blanc, the historic pub has stood in the village since the late 17th or early 18th century.
It is grade II listed and the last remaining pub in the village.
Two sides of the store would be made out of timber and covered in feather edged boarding with a felt flat roof, according to the plans.
The council has set a target decision date for May 28.
